Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian is celebrating a birthday today. According to the band's website, it's his 30th. "Yeah...30," the news pokes at the founding Anthrax member.

Born December 31, 1963 in New York City, I guess you could say he's celebrating the 15th anniversary of his 30th birthday, if you want to get technical. Whatever you do, make sure and drop the guy some birthday greetings. It can't be easy having a birthday that close to Christmas, especially once you factor in cake and all the food Ian apparently consumed over the holidays and 2008 as a whole.
