Metallica Reveals More About Next Single "All Nightmare Long"

Band Photo: Metallica (?)
Metallica has posted the following update online:
"The next track from Death Magnetic, 'All Nightmare Long' will get the full on treatment with a CD single collection available throughout Europe and other parts of the world (sorry, not in North America). Here's how it works ... starting December 15 you can pick up the collector's digi pack with the album version of 'All Nightmare Long" along with 'Wherever I May Roam' and 'Master Of Puppets' recorded live in Berlin at the DM release bash at the 02 World back in September.
"If you would like to complete your single collection, there are two more components available in what our record company calls a 'J card' (??) . . . CD 2 has the track again, 'Blackened' and 'Seek And Destroy', also recorded at the Berlin 02. Finally, if you just have to own the entire set, there is a third release, a DVD including a 10 minute mini-documentary about our day in Berlin along with 20 minutes worth of live tracks from that night's album release party, as well another 15 minute movie of yours truly in the tuning room at the Rock Im Park show earlier that summer.
"For those of you who prefer the digital version, check your friendly online providers and you will be able to download all the tracks, including the videos.
"Happy Days!"

At first I was thinking "wow Metallica wrote some solid material here, maybe they are ready to get back into releasing some good albums from now on". Now it seems like they might have done DM as kind of a headstone album. Meaning that it could be the last one or close to, which would explain why they might be trying to suck every last dollar they can out of us.
I can picture them backstage at some random show going "hey someone get a video camera, we can record this footage and sell it, then we can package it with a live track of Master of Puppets, that will make 50479 live tracks of MOP...yeah sweet"

JAKE, I WILL COMMENT ANY FUKING TIME I CHOOSE TO ANY FUKIN THREAD I CHOOSE TO...SO WHAT NOONE CARES ABOUT MY COMMENTS...I DONT CARE!! I AM SAYING MY OPINIONS IN AN OPEN FORUM. DONT LIKE IT, DONT READ MY POSTS, SKIP OVER THEM, ITS THAT EASY. AND BTW, WHAT WAS SO NEGATIVE ABOUT EITHER ONE OF MY POSTS THIS TIME? does baby jake need his baba and diaper change?
13. writes:
I thought you would comment back in an immature way like that. You're calling me a baby when your the one going around posting negative comments about bands that have made more money in their history than you can dream of. Why would you go around commenting on their life, job or career? How would you like it if someone came to your work, sh!t on your face and said you sucked? What I meant by negativity is obvious, you're just too stupid to grasp the concept of what I meant. And you are right, you can comment any forum you want, it's not up to me, BUT, I do no how to get your IP address from this website if you so choose to argue with me again.

and is that supposed to scare me? fuk you dude. you are the one who started this argument, not me. go ahead threaten to get my ip i trully dont care. why do you need it? gonna tell mommy and daddy to call police so you can sue me for internet bullying?
btw, no means no...you meant it as know...dumbass....im not worried about how much money metallica has made, i trully dont fu(king care. i am not the only one who sh1t-talks metallica here. why are you singling me out? got a hard on for me or something? as always, some punk a$$ b1tch singles me out cause i said something about their metalli-gods...waaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaa b1tch. you say its obvious, however you should have posted that specific comment in a thread where i was actually sh1t-talking them. all is aid was its a good marketing ploy to take more money from the sheep. then you come in and tell me what to do...
YOU ARE THE ONE WHO STARTED THIS FIGHT PUNK. SO GO AHEAD AND DO WHATEVER YOU FEEL YOU NEED TO. IM NOT WORRIED ONE FUKING BIT...!!

Jake: I'll have to agree with branded. Nothing he said prior to your attack on him was the least bit critical or offensive. It was merely an opinion. As godlike told "Johnny Boy" recently"If you can't run with the big dogs - it's best you stay up on the porch".

f*** it i'll say it.... one and only time i'll post here so who cares what you all have to say after it's posted.. As far as i'm concerned the black album WAS metallicas head stone. all this numetal sh** they did in the mid to late 90's and every thing up to DM has been no better than a tepid pool of a$$ crack sweat that you just can't wipe dry. You don't want to pay it any mind but it just won't go away.

yo lep, i was listening to metallica from rtl till they went sh1tty..i was into metallica when most of the new fans were sh1tting in their diapers! i know all about metallicas earlier work. just gave up on them when they went lawsuit happy on the ones who were not responsible for their songs leaking out!

I think most metal heads will agree that Metallica traded their metal pants for rock pants after "Justice". That's just the way it is. If you notice, the majority of their fanbase came along with, what, what, the "Black" album. The majority of the buying core were average regular non-metal folk. So what does that say?

Jake - Threatening to get someones IP address? What a fag. What exactly are you gonna do with it? I think it would be pretty funny if Deathbringer or Diamond revoked your membership or banned you, you fu(kin douche. Metallica lost it a fair while ago and there are many, many better bands around nowadays so grow a pair, stop cryin and refrain from making stupid threats.
On another note - branded - thanks for the song suggestions, 5fdp are pretty sweet

I dont hate the guys, I just think that they are too little too late. Too many bands out there that simply blow them out of the water. Maybe 10 yrs ago I would dig this album. As of now its just mediocre. Not particularly bad, just no new ground broken, nothing outstanding. And after "Some Kind of Monster" I do feel that its all about the money now. If anyone here likes Metallica still, and gets off on 'em, I respect your opinion. Its all opinion. I just dont get anything out of their music anymore. Too much out there thats better.

Ill have to check out Ledyard, you guys keep talking about em. Hope you get some good shows in Charlotte. Raleigh shows are pretty weak. Did catch Opeth, High on Fire and Baroness at the Lincoln theatre though, really good show. The Sword was here on the 12th but I missed out.
NP:"The Face of Oblivion" High on Fire
