wow, frost's kit is absolutely immense in this video!
i absolutely adore satyricon's newer works. From Volcano onwards every song is just amazing and i love everything to do with the new album, the artwork, the songs, even Satyr's new look now... took a while to get used to but hey
I really want to go see them but they never seem to do any 'proper' UK tours, just about 3 shows every time they bring out an album... i'd love to see them do a proper tour

I'm looking forward to getting this album. There are few bands out there who I can tolerate because everything seems so repetitive and played out. However, Satyricon is one of the few that seems to get it right every time in my eyes. They don't rely on crazy production, or even crazy gimmicks for that matter. Production wise their stuff is amazing because it sounds good now, and will still sound good 20 years from now without sounding dated. Unlike some bands who just go insane with the loudness war, too much compression, too many triggers on the drums, etc...

haha Yeah I was thinking Metallica and their new baby Death Magnetic. It really does sicken me how these bands are puppets of their labels who are in the middle of the "mines louder than yours" battle. Between RoadRunner Century Media & Nuclear Blast, it's like when is it gonna end? You have a volume knob for a reason, so you can TURN IT UP AND DOWN AT YOUR DISCRETION. It's so disappointing when you put a record in and it makes you s hit your pants because it's volume is equal to that of a jet engine. Then if you actually want to turn it up it just sounds like distortion mixed with someone hitting a wet paper bag and farting into a snare drum.

Cool song, but why do I turn red and get all embraced when he does all that weird stuff into the camera hahaha
It seems like every Satyricon video is just a bunch of quick cuts of the singer looking away then quickly turning his head towards the camera making stupid faces.
