It's cool when other bands pay respects to legendary bands and do covers, but some bands just butcher it. As for THESE guys, they did an AMAZING job with this tribute. My heart went to my throat at 1:09 !!! Nice footage in the video also...

I though this cover was o k... but I would really rather listen to the original than this. then again, the only cover I prefer to the original is Gwar's remake of alice cooper's "Schools Out". That song is awesome.

Now Playing: Slayer-Deviance

Pretty good, but nothing compared to the cradle of filth version. It had that thrash bit for the solo....sick!!!

I've never seen you post a positive thing on this site, do you hate all bands? first off it's a cover, and they didn't record this in studio, do you expect a replica? machine head is one of the better bands out there even if this particular song isn't up to par with you.
do you like any bands? im guessing you like Pantera looking at your name.

Well never said this was the best cover of a song, but considering the fact that other "bands" (haha) completely butcher it, I think Machine Head did a great job. Normally covers take a while for me to digest, so this was good.

brettTHEjett: Don't do it man. It will just piss you off. TBH, I couldn't figure out if they were harshing or seriously that crappy. It was aweful. At the very least it was disrespectful and in poor taste especially if it was truely an attempt. I hate you Fallout Boy. I hate you... You poop. Poop mouth!!!

I love Machine Head, but I don't know why but I don't care for their covers much, noting this one and their Sabbath cover of Hole In The Sky. They're decent, but on the respective cover albums, I don't like them as much as many others.

I've seen Machine Head many times and everytime they headline a show they play a medly of covers in the middle of their set...usually Maiden, old Sepultura, old Metallica, sabbath, i think they even played a cluth song at one show i was at. and it's usually pretty good. didn't hear the hole in the sky
