Band Photo: Iron Maiden (?)

Machine Head has posted a music video online for their cover of the Iron Maiden classic, "Hallowed Be Thy Name" online. You can check it out below. The song was originally recorded for an Iron Maiden tribute CD given away with Kerrang! magazine but is also featured on the release of the 2 disc Edition of Machine Head's latest album, "The Blackening."

It's cool when other bands pay respects to legendary bands and do covers, but some bands just butcher it. As for THESE guys, they did an AMAZING job with this tribute. My heart went to my throat at 1:09 !!! Nice footage in the video also...

I love Machine Head, but I don't know why but I don't care for their covers much, noting this one and their Sabbath cover of Hole In The Sky. They're decent, but on the respective cover albums, I don't like them as much as many others.

I've seen Machine Head many times and everytime they headline a show they play a medly of covers in the middle of their set...usually Maiden, old Sepultura, old Metallica, sabbath, i think they even played a cluth song at one show i was at. and it's usually pretty good. didn't hear the hole in the sky
