Oh, and inferno, I think it's lyrics to a brujeria song. I've seen a couple translated lyric sheets, and generally, they're rather perversely hilarious, so I assume the ones shredder posted are hilarious to someone who speaka espanola.

Straight outta Compton is perhaps the best rap album of all time imo, and definately one of the top 5 albums ever for me, so ya, you could say I'm a fan (no pun intended?)

No actually at one point Snoop was in NWA, a little after ice cube left, but it was mostly unreleased stuff that Dre later salvaged for his own solo stuff. so whatever. If you look on NWA's myspace, one of the songs with Snoop is on there, i forget which one though.

The only reason I don't mention Mc Ren and co. is because one of them is dead, and the other ones haven't released anything to get me intersted enought to care. :p

no but seriously. woah, Ice Cube Tupac Biggie and Nas alone hold enough educational bereft in their lyricism to make Nergal or Glen Benton look like morons, so try not to say they are mostly uneducated.

what you need to understand is that much like Metal, there is a scene that sneers in distaste at the mainly more popular groups. Like most metalheads despise the rise of Nu-Metal and Metalcore, so too does rap hate tha nigga's that be puttin a bad image out for the real g's. Nas even has a recent song out called "Hip Hop is Dead"

Most of what YOU may have heard is undeniably crap and full of sterotypes( i.e Lil wayne, Kanye West, Soulja Boy), hence you think ALL of it is crap, so that offends heavily people like myself who love the pure form of the music. It's kindof like someone calling Metal "just a bunch of screaming and hitting the guitar really fast". You would be deeply offended right? and very angry at their ignorance of what Metal really is, right? I feel the same about Rap.

Although their fashion choice does suck, I must admit lol

I'm just sayin it's kinda hypocritical to act the same way about another entirely legitamate music form that other people act about metal. just cuz you don't like rap, It's kinda mean to say all rap artists should die.

I mean, look at godlike, he can barely stand our scream and growl music, but he doesn't call our music stupid, or say that we should jump off a bridge, now does he?

I havent seen an episode of Family Guy since "the bird is the word" episode, which by the way, is one of the funniest i have seen in ages.

The funny thing for me was, i didn't start to enjoy rap at all until AFTER i started listening to all the scream and growl metal. You would think listening to Ozzy and Priest would have been a smoother transition. Doesn't make sense does it? lol

Actually, a lot of black metal does sound like so much noise to me. i can't even listen to early Immortal, cause it sounds like such crap to me. Recent immortal however...awesome.

There's only one black metal band I would fight someone if they called crap, and that's dimmu borgir. Satyricon maybe. :p
