Yes I have also listened to the new ATR and it is not heavy at all..but it doesn't mean that it is not good. This album is light compared to This Darkened Heart, but it is not bad. It has a great deal of clean vocals. The final track sounds really cool - it is a cover from Nevermore. Lucky guy - is that Max Cavalera with you?? Awesome, man!
I love Soulfly and can't wait to see them again.

Yeah man, thats max and I, hes a super chill guy i seen him with Cavalera Conspiracy and they played almost all Sepultura songs. Best concert ever! But yeah obviously the new ATR album isnt as heavy, but it is really really good. plus the guitars never let you down as usual.

Truth be told, they're going in the direction they are because they have the Shadow's Fall monkey on their back. Each of their disks has progressed much like SF and Phil has such an inferiority complex. I love Overcome but it'd be nice if they weren't following another band's history.

i like ATR's first three albums, but there new material was really disappointing. It's almost like pop-metal.
