Nah, the Newport is a larger venue that the one they usually play here in Toledo. I've seen them 4 times, and three of them were in a packed bar/club place and one was in a bigger arena-type place, and I think Clutch is better suited to play smaller stages. It seems that when they play the dive bars here, it's a better show due to having an immense amount of people in a tiny little bar. Like setting fireworks off inside a sealed coffee can, kinda.

I guess they are boring as long as you hate talented musicians who've mastered their crafts. Jean Paul is an amazing drummer. Neil is... Well, neil is crazy as hell, but he's great at vocal and lyrics (whatever they mean). The guitar player (I forget his name at the moment) is also quite awesome at what he does. He is by no means a shreadder, but he is a master of his craft. Quite simply put: CLUTCH kicks ass.

Not too into this band. I've seen them live and that was boring too. Others may have a different opinion.
