Mastodon Confirmed For Rock Band 2

American metallers Mastodon are the latest band to be confirmed for the new video game, Rock Band 2. heir song “Colony of Birchmen” from the album "Blood Mountain" has been selected to appear.

Mastodon are currently finishing recording their new album with producer Brendan O' Brien which is set to be released in 2009.

Its just fun to play, especially the drums. And this is really old news, they've been confirmed for at least a month now. I like how Harmonix (Creators of Rock Band) is forcing kids to listen to good music through rock band 2. Metallica - Battery, Judas Priest - Painkiller, Megadeth and Dream Theater have songs on it, Alice in Chains, etc. These are bands/songs that are going to be forced down the throats of millions of kids as of Sept 14th.
