The Project Hate's Tape Troubles

Sweden's The Project Hate, featuring Jörgen Sandström of Entombed/Grave fame on lead vocals, have abandoned plans to issue a reworked version of an unreleased album from guitarist Lord K's (a.k.a. Kenth Philipson) previous band, Deadmarch, as the group's next CD.

"The planned Deadmarch album won't be re-recorded as fuckin' idiot Tomas Skogsberg [projected producer for the sessions] just let us know that he has lost the [original] tapes," Philipson wrote in an e-mail to Blabbermouth. "Fuckin' awesome. One fuckin' day before the fuckin' studio, he lets us know he cant find the fuckin' tapes. What a professional. We'll concentrate on writing the material for the next album instead."

The Project Hate recently signed a deal with Entombed's Threeman Recordings imprint following a two-CD stint with Germany's Massacre Records. The group's next studio effort is tentatively due to be recorded during the summer for a late 2003 release.
