New Guns N Roses Album To Be Retail Exclusive?

Blabbermouth.net reports: Ed Christman of Billboard.com reports that negotiations are underway for GUNS N' ROSES' long-delayed "Chinese Democracy" to come out as an exclusive at one of the big boxes — either Wal-Mart or Best Buy.
Negotiations are also ongoing to have conventional record company distribution, a source tells Billboard.com.
GUNS N' ROSES is now managed by Irving Azoff's Front Line Management, and Azoff is a well-known proponent of issuing albums exclusively through retailers. He released THE EAGLES' "Long Road Out of Eden" through Wal-Mart, much to the chagrin of other merchants.

I'd rather not expect Chinese Democracy to come out as soon as possible. I have a feeling that it might suck just because Slash and Duff are not on this one, and those reports on whether it's really come out is so freaking annoying.

It's funny.All the band's that Axl had a problem with are still out there and actually thriveing in some cases with the acception of NIRVANA of course.Motley Crue & POISON are all still touring and recording.But Axl can't seem to get or hold it together.I don't understand.If this new band is supposedly better than the original.Then what's the hold up?Seriously every year we get some new snippet of info that turn's out to be worthless.If this disc ever does see light of day.It better be just as good as it's hype implies.Sure it will sell on curiousity.However if it's not good as alot of people are implying.After all this bullsh** & false start's.His career resurection might not servive it.I mean really he can appear on Sebastion Bach's album but he can't release his own?After a 15yr head start.REALLY!!!!!
