I saw Metallica in Chicago at that same venue (which really isn't in chicago). Sevendust opened and pits began to form and people were actually trying to stop the pits...not security, but fans. This was probly 1999 or 2000. I went mainly to see Sevendust, and I might go mainly to see MH. Nothing against Metallica they've made great music and 3/4 of their set will be good.

Funny. I would pay (and have paid in the past) to see Machine Head. I would not pay to see Metallica (although unfortunately, I have in the past).
