Funny. I would pay (and have paid in the past) to see Machine Head. I would not pay to see Metallica (although unfortunately, I have in the past).

I saw Metallica in Chicago at that same venue (which really isn't in chicago). Sevendust opened and pits began to form and people were actually trying to stop the pits...not security, but fans. This was probly 1999 or 2000. I went mainly to see Sevendust, and I might go mainly to see MH. Nothing against Metallica they've made great music and 3/4 of their set will be good.

but have to say machine head needs the own head line show
iam afraid the will blow metallica of stage
and that from a diehard metallica fan

machine head will rule the pit than
hornsup

well bob book a ticket to the usa like what i do
and yes this a plus point fo our older metal heads we got money to spent to fly to a show to bang our head off even with short hair hahahaha

Gojira on a previous tour or are they on the bill w MH and Metallica?
I saw them with God Forbid which was a great show. also w devildriver, and a couple other tours.
I still say Machine Head & Sevendust are the best live acts out there. Slayer's up there too.
