AC/DC Invites Fans To Be A Part Of New Music Video
Blabbermouth.net reports: Want to be a part of the next music video by AC/DC? Well, here's a chance for 150 lucky AC/DC fans to win a chance to be part of the new AC/DC video to be shot in London, England on August 16, 2008. Contest entry form is located here.
AC/DC's new album, "Black Ice", has had its release date pushed up one week, from October 28 to October 21. The record, AC/DC's first in eight years, will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart.
The first single from "Black Ice", titled "Rock 'n Roll Train", will arrive at radio stations August 28. A source at Harddrive Radio described it as "smoking hot. It's AC/DC like we love them, loud, anthemic and hard!"
"Black Ice" is AC/DC's first new studio effort since 2000's "Stiff Upper Lip". It was recorded at a Canadian studio with PEARL JAM and BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN producer Brendan O'Brien.

To be fair though Kalis, you'd be amazed how many times I've felt disapointed by the amount of bands who post "wanna be in our new video?!" and when I read further the shoot is always in L.A. or New York or wherever and it never seems to be in England or Britain in general. So it's quite nice of AC/DC to give a chance to the British fans especially since (real) rock and metal is so overlooked here.
