AC/DC Readies New Single, Album, and Tour?
Amid much contradictory and sketchy information found on the Internet, Billboard.com reports that AC/DC will embark on a world tour before the end of the year in support of its next studio album, according to authoritative fan site Electric Shock.
The album is likely to be titled "Black Ice" and will be released Oct. 28 in North America via Columbia, but will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores. A Columbia spokesperson was unavailable for comment at deadline.
The first single, "Runaway Train," will hit radio in late August (August 24 according to other reports), the site says. The album was produced by Brendan O'Brien and is AC/DC's first since 2000's "Stiff Upper Lip."
Yesterday, it was announced that the band's "Let There Be Rock" will appear in the video game "Rock Band 2," which hits stores in September.

Yeah I would imagine it'd be sold in ASDA here but to be honest I don't see them making that an exclusive since the U.K. is hardly AC/DC country. Either way, they're the last band on my list that I wanna see so I'm gonna try and get there and bring my 8 year old AC/DC loving cousin with me.

All kidding aside, I’m really looking forward to the new album. It’s been way too long waiting for this one! I’ve been a fan since 1979. I miss the days when they released an album each year. Ahhh the good ole’ days! I don’t blame them though. When you do anything for 30 plus years, a nice 8 year break is well deserved.
For those of you that have never seen them in concert, get ready for the best show you have ever seen. I’ve seen well over 100 concerts in my time and AC/DC is by far the top on that list!
