Metal gods Judas Priest have posted the first music video from their new album "Nostradamus" online at Headbangers Blog. Alternatively, you can check out the video to "War" below.

A posting on the Headbangers Blog website says the video "features witches practicing magic then being burned at the stake, a tyrannical ruler exerting fascist control, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse storming through the sky, fire spreading across the earth, winged beasts reigning destruction and lots more imagery that would have make Hieronymus Bosch giddy with delight."

Well you missed a preview of the new X-files movie. MTV needs to update the way they link videos because I've linked to a dynamic feed once or twice myself instead of the exact video.

I have Nostradamus - way different from the standard metal of Priest - but still a good Priest album.
The album has an operatic feel to it - but the "burners" on the new album are great.
I look forward to checking out this vid.

Ugh. The vid and the song suck. I really was expecting a lot better. Hopefully the rest of the album isn't as bad.

I'm not a huge Priest fan, but I picked up the album on a whim, seeing it at Best Buy for $11.99, which is good for a regular album, much less a double CD. This has got to be one of the worst songs off the album though. I have no idea why they chose to make a video of it.
