Black Stone Cherry Announces New Album Release Date

Kentucky rockers Black Stone Cherry have set August 19th as the date when they will release their second album "Folklore and Superstition".

Drummer John Fred Young says about the record: “There is a mystique with folklore and superstition. We’re intrigued by and interested in history, roots and heritage, and we incorporate that into the band.”

Adds bassist Jon Lawhon: “We are taking the Southern tradition and spreading it out to the rest of the world. They say, ‘Write what you know,’ so that’s what we’re doing, writing what we know.”

The track listing is as follows:

01. Blind Man
02. Please Come In
03. Reverend Wrinkle
04. Soul Creek
05. Things My Father Said
06. The Bitter End
07. Long Sleeves
08. Peace Is Free

Awsome. This band is growing on me. I dig the guitar players. New twist to older style.
