Metallica have posted two more videos online, showing them working on their new album which is due for a September release. Check them out below.

The band will be making the festival rounds over the summer before starting on a full concert tour in October.

I love how Lars was talking about cool rhythms in the second vid, on Justice and Puppets some ideas he pulls are just so original and off the wall... hope he remembers that.

Anyway, the second vid is playing "The New Song" that was played live in 06, so hot k is right. Though it's a different slow version, and sounded way better in the finished song. For anyone reading, that song was also said to not be on the album.

This is pretty important album for Metallica. They cannot really afford to mess up again after St Anger... unless they just wanna be a live band. I am looking forward to the album. But, still, as for the future, how many albums do they have left in them? James' voice sounds pretty weak, Lars' drumming is nowhere near what it used to be, as for the songs... oh well, we will see.
