Shadow Season Sign to Sound Riot

Norway's Shadow Season, featuring Trym (Zyklon, ex-Emperor) and guest appearances from Gehenna and Forlorn members, have officially signed on with Portugal's Sound Riot Records.

The group's debut mini-album, The Frozen, was recorded in summer 2002 at Tram Lydstudio and at Akkerhaugen Lydstudio by producer Thorbjorn Akkerhaugen (Emperor, Zyklon). A total of four tracks spanning 24 minutes were laid down and is simply described as "black metal"; The Frozen will however feature viola, the most metal of all instruments.

In similar Shadow Season news, they're currently writing material for their debut as-yet-untitled full-length for 2003. Confirmed guests so far are former Morbid Angel frontman Steve Tucker.
