Obtuse Mule Cease Operations

On November 8th, Seattle-based record label Obtuse Mule permanently ceased operations for unknown reasons. According to the label, "this decision will not be discussed with anyone. Period." As such, all future performances and recordings by Videogamez (which features Obtuse Mule owner Tom Mahoney) have been cancelled. No word on any other impending releases, including Playing Enemy's Ephemera EP. Formed in 1998, Obtuse Mule has previously released material by Craw, Swarming Hordes, and the Apes of Wrath.
