Angel Dust / Guitarist Part

Germany's Angel Dust have revealed that guitarist Bernd Aufermann has officially parted with the band.
Here's what the band had to say about Aufermann's departure: [translated from German] "The personally differences with Bernd could be removed in a detailed conversation, much things rest on misunderstandings. The split from Bernd exists further on."

Aufermann's replacement remains Ritchie Wilkison, who completed Angel Dust's debut North American tour as well as performed with Demons And Wizards on their European jaunts. In other member news, drummer and founding member Dirk "Assy" Assmuth returns to the fold as well after leaving in October 2000 due to conflicting business and musical interests. As it stands, Angel Dust's line-up is: Dirk Thurisch, Ritchie Wilkison, Steven Banx, Dirk Assmuth and Frank Banx.

In similar news, Angel Dust are scheduled to enter Woodhouse Studios in Hagen, Germany on August 21 to record, Of Human Bondage, the follow-up to the much lauded Enlighten the Darkness. Of Human Bondage will be produced by Siggi Bemm and feature a 'slightly heavier and more straight-forward' sound.
