We have a hand full of great songs already, soon to be Amon Amarth classics, and we still have plenty of great song ideas. On March 27th we’re taking a break from the song writing, heading out to sea, raiding and pillaging (the bars) at the Sweden Rock Cruise."
Sweden Rock Cruise which sails from Stockholm (Sweden) to Turkku (Finland) and back on March 27th - 28th, to celebrate the 50th issue of Sweden Rock Magazine. Also on the bill are EDGUY, ARTILLERY, CRAZY LIXX, THRESHOLD and BONAFIDE.
On board the cruise ship will be three metal bars/night clubs with metal DJs, a record fair, metal karaoke, a pool/sauna area, casino, tax-free shopping, restaurants and more. Tickets, which include your own space in a cabin, are priced from 395 SEK (around 40 euros). Passengers must be 18 years or older."

AH HA! They did take a vacation before really getting into the new album! Good boys! Even though the new album would be far from mediocre with or with out a vacation think it's smart they took a break first before getting back in the studio. All hail Amon! >:)
