70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Devilmakesthree Release

PRESS RELEASE [For immediate disclosure] - Belfast’s Devilmakesthree have stormed into the UK’s exiting underground metal scene with the release of their first demo CD.

Entitled “Caution: will cause neck injury”, these three songs will delight all fans of heavy progressive and aggressive music.

Established in Autumn 2002, founding member Marty Robinson (guitar/vocals) gathered Paul Duffy (drums) and Dave McCallum (bass) to jam on a few tracks. Inspiration and excitement grew as the songs took form and became monstrous slabs of metal, 3-off, which are available on the bands first CD release.

Devilmakesthree have a sound that hints of latter day Carcass mixed up with Entombed and a little bit of Cathedral. This should be no surprise as the band are huge fans of all these pioneering groups, but there is a depth and maturity within the songs that whilst allowing the influences to be heard, they are in no way blatant and plagiaristic.

At the end of the day, this CD does what it promises. Watch your neck!
