A new regional label, Deathwish Japan, has been launched, led by the minds behind Daymare Recordings and Alliance Trax, two of the most respected labels in Japan. This means better distribution, availability, and visibility of Deathwish releases and better Japanese tour opportunities for their affiliated artists.

The label comments: "The Japanese aggressive music community has been extremely supportive of Deathwish since our inception, and we are stoked to finally be able to properly bring our world of releases to Japan. This really is a dream come true for all of us at DW/Malfunction, and we couldn't be happier about the expansion."

This March, Deathwish Japan will unleash its first releases:

Blacklisted "Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God" CD
Life Long Tragedy "Runaways" CD
Shipwreck a.d. "Abyss" CD
Pulling Teeth "Martyr Immortal" CD
Converge "Unloved And Weeded Out" CD
