"Light The Fire", the new album by Florida metalcore band EKOTREN, was released today (February 19) in North America via Blind Prophecy Records. The first single, "Tranquilized", has been tearing across the airwaves, earning titles as Most Added Band on FMQB and #4 on CMJ's Loud Rock charts.
EKOTREN is slated to shoot a video for "Tranquilized" with David Brodsky (My Good Eye), who has directed clips for some of the hottest up-and-coming names in metal, including STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, SUICIDE SILENCE, and THE RED CHORD. The video will be filmed on February 25, on a rare day off during the band's national tour with ILL NINO, in New Jersey and is tentatively set for a March premiere.
EKOTREN will be on tour with ILL NINO and DROID until March 2 and will celebrate its homecoming with a CD-release party on March 8 at Club Ricochet in Fort Myers, Florida.
