Well in some ways I see your point, but will say this: I have always thought that being a freak was great. It's fun and the reactions some people give you can make your day. I also think that there is a line between something that is of fun schock value and f***ed up schock value. Fun schock value would be something along the lines of Manson getting a pair of bob's or the great Nergal tearing up a bible. f***ed up freaky would be singing about killing babies in the manner that Canibal Corpse does. Maybe I am reading into them too deeply, but in my opinion they go too far. I am also an aunt and have had a miscarage so maybe some of that is maternal?

I was asking that question to Fallen guy's because I was wanting a female prespective. Not to start a war or anything like that. I know awhile ago we had that Canibal Corpse thread that was a tad intense and did not want you to think that was going to be a trend with me in Canibal corpse threads.

for a band not to document their tours and concerts is fine, but which dude decided that it was okay to ask fans for material that they have and make money off the dvd, while the fan gets f***all?
read the 'terms'.
it's the fans creating the dvd/video with no compensation.
weird stuff

Jester, the fans can't get money for the videos themselves anyway. That would be illegal. Cannibal Corpse retains all rights to anything they perform so technically they already own the videos that the fans have recorded. Thats why it is illegal for people to sell bootleg tapes and movies of bands performances.
