Deceased/October 31 Updates
Deceased drummer/frontman King Fowley contacted BW&BK for an exclusive update on the upcoming Deceased and October 31 releases. The setbacks were caused due to a health issue Fowley has had to endure:
"On the Deceased front a bit of a health setback has gotten into my lungs! It seems like a blood clot formed there a few months back and put me in dire health and eventually I ended up hospitalized! I am now on a recovery and on medication and treatment to fix the situation. Sadly it took a toll on my body and there’s a possibility I will be giving up the drums in the near future! As for Deceased, we are taking time off during the healing process and then will proceed writing and recording our long awaited new LP entitled, As The Weird Travel On, for Relapse Records. Some new song titles are 'A Witness To Suspiria', 'Fright', and 'The Corpse In The Well'. Also, look out for The Radiation Years, a collection of the bands '88 and '89 demos out on Cursed Records. A pic disc of Behind The Mourners VeilFearless Undead Machines!"
"As for October 31 they too are on hiatus for the moment and will then get back to writing and recording No Survivors for my own label Battlezone. People have asked the band why we left Metal Blade and the answer was just simply that we wanted to go back to being totally independent!"
