Ligeia Begin Work On New Album

Massachusetts-based band LIGEIA has begun work on its sophomore full-length album, "Bad News", with producer Ken Susi (UNEARTH). A spring/summer release via Ferret Music is expected. The band will also embark on a spring tour with such artists as THE MILES BETWEEN, CARNIFLEX, WITH BLOOD COMES CLEANSING, IT PREVAILS and UNHOLY.

Formed in 2004, LIGEIA features Keith Holuk (vocals), Ryan Ober (guitar), Brandon Whipple (bass) and Nick Neumeister (drums). The band's sound integrates post-hardcore melodies and metal grit.

LIGEIA has toured with such artists as HASTE THE DAY, SCARY KIDS SCARING KIDS, MISERY SIGNALS, SINCE BY MAN, SCARLET, DEAD TO FALL, FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW and AUGUST BURNS RED.
