70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Bullet For My Valentine Inspire Comic Book Series

Much buzzed-about breaking band BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE has commissioned celebrated indie comic book writer and illustrator Tom Manning to create a mini-comic book for every one of the 11 songs on the band's new album, "Scream Aim Fire," which will be released on January 29 (20/20/Jive/Zomba).

Each book will be three-to-five pages in length and all are inspired by the lyrics of the songs on the new release. The first three ("Scream Aim Fire," "Waking The Demon," "Hearts Burst Into Fire") will be available on January 29 in the PDF booklet of the iTunes deluxe version of the album. Ultimately, all 11 books will be available for viewing on a micro-site found at www.safthecomics.com. Fans can access a free PDF download of "Scream Aim Fire" now when they sign up for the band's mailing list at www.safthecomics.com/freedownload.

In addition to the actual comic book for every song, 15-second animated trailers have been created for each comic and have just been posted on media partner websites. The first trailer for the CD's title track can be viewed now on the band's YouTube channel and MySpace profile.

Tom Manning is a writer, illustrator and graphic designer living in New Haven, Connecticut. His first graphic novel, RACECAR, was published in 1999, and the final volume of his critically acclaimed series Runoff has recently been published by OddGod Press. He has art directed magazines such as Filter and Mean, and is currently in the final year of a master's degree in graphic design from Yale University. He enjoys cats, Earl Grey tea, his parents, and ghost stories. His hobbies include work. More information on his comics can be found at www.robotsandmonkeys.com.

"Scream Aim Fire" is Bullet For My Valentine's sophomore release and follows their 2006 debut "The Poison" which has sold more than a million copies worldwide. The eleven new songs are, according to frontman Matthew Tuck, "really melodic heavy metal...catchy, hooky choruses and full-on vocals, with the music being very in-your-face and heavy." The CD's title track is already Top 30 at Active Rock stations.

The four-piece metal core band from Bridgend, South Wales, UK - Matthew "Matt" Tuck/vocals, Michael "Padge" Paget/Guitar, Michael "Moose" Thomas/drums, and Jason "Jay" James/Bass - are, according to the UK's Kerrang!, well on their way to "phase two of world domination" with the new disc. The band graces the cover of the brand new issue of Revolver, themed "The Future of Metal."

Bullet For My Valentine will support "Scream Aim Fire" beginning with the Taste of Chaos tour which kicks off in Denver, CO on February 29.

*sighs deep* I loathe to no end the entire concept of "love" metal. Metal was a never should be about love. Who ever thought it should be should be shot! No... Worse. Tourchered to death Kali style and put in the dictionary as the worlds biggest idiot!

This band is weak - they were a no show at Concrete Street in CC, Texas. I know they suck - but it was positive because Lacuna Coil got to play longer!

Lacuna Coil would be a better band anyways to see. I hate bands that no show! That is bad business as far as I am conserned. Ah... God damn I love Dimmu Borgir!! After a days work they calm my nerves. Playing ISD and happy now.

Lacuna Coil is an awesome band, not to mention fairly heavy. They put on a great show. Bullet For My Valentine is just more emo pop metal...lol. Boo to pop metal.
I think the loudest band I have ever heard was either Machine Head, or Gojira.
Now that is true metal - the future of metal.

I dont remember the plot, But it was a Christmas episode. Homer was hanging lights on the house and of course did a sh**ty job, (I think he even fell off the roof) but he asked Bart what he thought of the lights, and he said "Its craptacular, Dad"

bullet for my valentine is a good band. their first album was better then this new one but that really only do to the singer throat problems. Also there's many different types a metal not just one thats in your little dream world. they are far from emo and were around long before that term ever came to be. you should listen to their first album and see some live footage before judgeing them.
