Band Photo: Amon Amarth (?)

With the Australia and New-Zealand tour having recently come to its conclusion, Amon Amarth will now begin writing new material for their next album. On this topic, the band states: "Our touring is done for this time, and even though we do have a couple of shows coming up this spring, our main effort will be writing and recording a new album. The plan is to return to Fascination Street Studios in May to record the new album, once again working with Jens Bogren as engineer and producer." We'll have to wait a bit longer for the album cover, title and tracklist to be released.

Man take a vacation first! We would not want the Amon men worn out and make a mediocre album.

Amon just got off tour. A break to me seems like a smart idea. Then again, more power to them if they dont and pump out a great album.

They deserve a break but if they decide not to take one than it is still imposible for them to make a mediocre album.

I know, I know. I am just kidding around a little. Me thinks they will make a great album and mayhaps it maybe that the tour gave them ideas, and you never want to go too long without getting them down on paper at the very least.

Seriously, they may not take a break and start out mediocre (which by our standards is pretty f*ckin amazing) but they'll come around and deliver nothing but top notch metal by the end of recordings. I fear nothing, whether they take a break or not.

I take a lot of pride in being of scottish decent. William Wallace was awesome and Highlander was the best movie ever. The sequel sucked though

Fate Of Norns is a damn great album, i wouldnt say it was mediocre.
Highlander 1 was the best of the movies, the Irish had bagpipes first, and Oden and his warriors would storm mount olympus raiding and pillaging before heading to italy for a brawl with Mars.

Lets hope that it doesnt turn out to be like the Metallica release when it comes to the album release time. That is going to drive me nuts! I also hope the tour comes close to Seattle. All things will come to head I am sure. This one I WILL hold my breath for something grand to ensue. :)
