Suicide Silence To Support Behemoth And Parkway Drive On Tour

Century Media Records Germany reports:
SUICIDE SILENCE has just secured the direct support slot on the upcoming BEHEMOTH tour in February before they will come back with PARKWAY DRIVE and BURY YOUR DEAD in April/May.
Those diverse packages already show that Suicide Silence adheres to no preconceived notions and refuses to be pigeonholed into any specific genre. Their music clearly represents their many influences, incorporating a savage mix of death metal, grindcore, black metal, hardcore and doom elements into each track. The songs are dynamic and crushing, shifting effortlessly from insane grind chaos into surgically precise, disorienting time signatures topped off with snail-paced grooves and destructive breakdowns. Check out songs from The Cleansing at: http://www.myspace.com/suicidesilence
Suicide Silence’s album The Cleansing will finally hit Europe on February 18th and the UK on March 31st. It will come with the exclusive European bonus track 'A Dead Current' as well as a CD enhancement offering 6 live clips from US and UK.
Upon the US release of the album Suicide Silence made a huge statement to the metal world by entering the US Billboard Top 200 chart at #94, which marks the highest debut ever for a new Century Media artist.

they probably tour with these sh**ty scene bands because sh**ty scene kids dont know anything about death metal. so its sorta exposure of death metal to sh**ty scene kids who would normally not be going to a behemoth show because they dont "bring the mosh" or have "brutoool breakdowns" and pig squeals.

what are scene kids and why do they like deathcore? im from a small redneck town and i never see kids wearing suicide silence shirts or job for a cowboy. the only "scene kids" here wear avenged sevenfold, afi, and sh** like that.but there not in the same category as deathcore. i guess its just were your from.

"the majority of local bands are pretty much sh**ty wannabe "deathcore" bands" - Man I can't agree more, 90% of new bands these days are so uninspired and it's more than easy to pick up a down tuned guitar and pull out some chugging riff.
I think the main problem is because metal has expanded so much, every band wants to be everything. They want brutal death metal, break downs of metalcore, clean emotional breaks, MDM, and of course every band wants to be Metallica. Throw that together and you get.... uninspired mess.

f*** all of you that hate on suicide silence just because of the scene crowd that enjoys their music. This music is supposed to be about doing what you love and not giving a sh** and thats what it should be. Here in New York, we dont give a sh** at the shows whos there were just so stoked to see the bands we love playing and getting to hang out with them. For me going to any metal show is not just about whose playing, but also about the crowd performance and who im with, and quite often i find myself surrounded by some awesome people, whether they be scene, straight edge, hardcore, or whatever...everybody is there for the music

Dude, Keith of Plague, you're way out of place, I suggest you stop talking unless you want to get made fun of. SS is terrible, I can't stand them. Maybe Behemoth is doing it so that the black metal crowd can reek havoc on the scene kids, to which in that case, I think it would be worth it. Scene kids and their crap deathcore bands ruin good shows, its time that a real metal crowd gives them what they deserve.

you think we havent already listened to this band? that we just decided to hate them because scene kids like them? im pretty sure that everyone here who bashes them has been to that myspace page and came to the same conclusion, that sh**ty breakdowns, off key tremolo runs and terrible vocals do not make a death metal band.

yea, theres a ton of sh**ty local metalcore bands that call themselves grindcore, yet totally dont sound anything like pig destroyer, napalm death, or even cephalic carnage. i think they just call themselves grindcore because they cant play music, so they figure "oh grind has blast beats and really short songs why dont we just call our terrible metalcore band grindcore because we cant make an actual coherent song".
