RollingStone.com has issued the following report from Erica Futterman:

It’s a new year, with new LED ZEPPELIN tour rumors:

The latest speculation has FOO FIGHTERS' Dave Grohl waiting on an invite to drum on an alleged reunion tour. Grohl, who has expressed his willingness to do the job, was allegedly up for Jason Bonham’s gig at last month’s one-off show."

As previously reported, on December 31st, 2007, Mirror.co.uk exclusively revealed "that Led Zeppelin - who staged a triumphant "one-off" gig at the O2 (that) month - will be the headline act at the Bonnaroo festival in the US next year. The festival runs from June 12th to 15th in Tennessee - and if all goes smoothly they may even hit the road and tour.

An insider told us: "This is the news that will drive their fans absolutely wild. They have been bombarding their website to get back together for good but only Robert Plant wasn't keen to commit. Now he's had a change of heart and if it goes well they are also talking about touring."

I'm afraid to think about what I'd pay to see that show.

Hmm... I dont know, is Grohl really the man for the job? Thinking of Bonham, I'd say they'd need a madman drummer like Jimmy Chamberlin. He's probably available as well, since the Smashing Pumpkins reunion is going to sh**s

The hilarious part is that Dave is not really the big news here; It's that their is a definite posibility of Led Zepp tour in the U.S.!!!!
Greatest gift ever for those of us born after the glory days. At least i can still see Ozzy at a reasonable price any year I want to.(Ozzfest) I will have to sell my family into the underground slave trade to go to this thing, but I don't care, if the tour happens, I'm goin.

Now Playing: evoL- "Approximate Repair"

Dave is by no means fit for the job at all! I think maybe Aerosmith or the like would beftit way better.
Now playing- Immortal "Sons of Northern Darknes" Ah... *grins from ear to ear* I am relaxed and happy at the moment.

Kalis_wrath says "Now playing- Immortal "Sons of Northern Darkness"

that cd/song is the most f***in godlike black metal cd ever (behind Mayhem's De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas and Emperor's In the Nighside Eclipse anyway) and Immortal rules us all

Yes, it is Cruor it is. So is Watain "Sworn to the Dark," Darkthrone "A blaze in the Northern sky," Mayhem "Ordo ad chao," Gorgoroth "Pentagram," Bathory s/t, Emporor "The night side eclipse," Styricon "Dark medevil times" and anything Dimmu Borgir. That is just a fraction of the tip of my bloody bm pick. My favorite Led Zep album and video is "The song remains the same" every time I watch it I get goose bumps! Jimmy Page's fantacy ist krieg! I also love John's solo! I really hope to make it to one of the U.S shows.

Great albums Kalis_wrath, In the Nightside Eclipse is the most unholy piece of dark art that has every come across my unworthy ears
Anything by Watain, Satyricon, Gorgoroth, or Mayhem is awesome
All should know the power that Darkthrone possess as they are the definition of black metal (imo) and A Blaze in the Northern Sky, Under a Funeral Moon, and Transylvanian Hunger are classics of the genre
I prefer the Viking stuff of Bathory as opposed to the primitive BM in their early career
I still listen to Dimmu Borgir but not nearly as much as when I discovered them and when I do it's usually Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, the original recording of Stormblast, and Spiritual Black Dimensions
What you think bout Burzum, Dark Funeral, Dissection, Enslaved, and Xasthur?

My fav. song by Zeppelin would have to be Achilles Last Stand
