Err - " DEATH METAL FAN" were you talking about "Once Was Not"?
In anycase I thought the production ruined that album, I just thought it was missing the heavyness what None So Vile had. It had some pretty good songs but Lord Worms vocals were also poorly recorded. Though, some of the best lyrics I've ever read.
Now Playing: Metallica - "Damage Inc."

Omg. Prepare for annihilation then - "None So Vile" imho is the greatest brutal death metal album ever made. Better than Nile. After than listen to the previous album "Blasphemy Made Flesh" - that album's worth it just for the infamous 30 second scream on "Open Face Surgery". Hell I'm not even a fan of brutal death in most cases but the drumming alone make Cryptopsy a monster to behold. Not to mention one of death metals greatest ever vocalists.
Now Playing: Mercyful Fate - "A Dangerous Meeting"
