70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Germany's Caliban will enter the studio shortly.

This Saturday, German metal outfit Caliban will be entering the studio to record their next full-length. The title for the effort has been set as Shadow Hearts and it is being recorded at Woodhouse Studios in Hagen, Germany. As some of you may know, the band recently held a contest, the winner of which would get to design the layout for the record. Consequently, the winner ended up being Spiros Antoniou of Greece (view some of his work here). The album is scheduled for release by Lifeforce Records in Europe on January 13th, Prosthetic Records in the U.S. on January 14th, and Imperium/Howling Bull in Japan on January 8th.
