Narcissus Update
Narcissus has been busy as of late working on new material. If you recall, a few months ago the band signed with Century Media Records / Abacus. At this point, they hope to enter the studio in March 2003 to record their Century Media debut. In related news, the re-release of Becoming Leviathan (originally released on Takehold Records in 2001) which had been slated for this Fall, has been postponed until next year so that the band can focus on their new album. When the re-release finally does surface, it will contain three new songs, new artwork, and remastering. One of the new songs, "The Commons," should be appearing on MP3.com any day now (according to the band, the song is aggressive and upbeat, yet simple and catchy, and not really on par with their latest material). In touring news, the band will be making a short run with Shelter and Keepsake in October. Here are the dates:
10/4 South Amboy NJ @ Club Krome
10/5 Danbury CT @ Empress Ballroom
10/6 West Hempstead NY @ Oil City Skatepark
10/7 Wilkes Barre PA @ Metropolis
10/8 Lancaster PA @ The Chameleon
10/9 Buffalo NY @ Showplace Theatre
