Origin to Tear up the Road

Origin has announced two forthcoming US tours in support of their new album, Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas. The band will hit the road with Immolation, Vader and The Berzerker, beginning November 3rd. The tour actually kicks off with a performance on November 1st at the 2002 CMJ Music Marathon in New York City, where the band will appear as part of the Relapse Records showcase with label mates Mastodon, Cephalic Carnage, Pig Destroyer, Dysrhythmia, Daylight Dies and others. Immediately following the aforementioned tour, Origin will begin a US headlining tour beginning December 8th in Atlanta, GA. The tour will run through December 22nd, with support from All That Remains and Scar Culture. Meanwhile, Origin have announced that long time guitarist Jeremy Turner has stepped down. The split is an amicable one. Turner's spot was filled immediately by returning Origin member/guitarist Clint Appelhanz, who is known previously for his songwriting on the band's demo, A Coming Into Existence.
