IN FLAMES and CHILDREN OF BODOM are in talks to play next year's Gigantour in North America, the tour's organizer, Dave Mustaine of MEGADETH, revealed during an appearance on the "Talking Metal on Fuse" show on Fuse TV this past Friday (November 9). Another act that may be taking part in the trek is the Arizona-based extreme metal group JOB FOR A COWBOY.
IN FLAMES is currently at its own IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden working on the follow-up to last year's "Come Clarity". All drums have been recorded and IN FLAMES is receiving assistance with the vocals from producer Daniel Bergstrand, who previously produced the vocals on "Reroute To Remain", "Soundtrack To Your Escape" and "Come Clarity".
A new IN FLAMES track, entitled "Abnegation", is featured on the "Viva La Bands, Vol. 2" album, which was released on September 4 via Ferret Music and Filthy Note Records.
CHILDREN OF BODOM recently entered Petrax Studio in Hollola, Finland with producer Mikko Karmila to begin recording its new album for an April 7, 2008 European release via Spinefarm Records. The CD, which will feature a guest appearance by Peter Tägtgren of HYPOCRISY and PAIN fame, will be preceded by a single on March 3, 2008. Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Pray for the Devil", "Good Morning Roadkill" and "Tie My Rope".

In Flames and Bodom! That is incredible. Bodom is just epic to see live and In Flames is a band that I have been waiting for to see so if this happens that woul really make my year....but JFAC why? seriously why? hardcore and metal dont mix like ever....w/e....but honestly this needs to happen cause this would slaughter every American Tour in 2008 for sure even ozzfest and SOTU. Damn please by true and not just talk....don't worry metal2death i would cry too if it came to my city as well...

I would love to see bodom again, I don't really care for JFAC so it doesn't really bother me. In Flames would also be killer to see but I still don't know if it would bear DT and Opeth although having Bodom, IF and Megadeth all in one tour is pretty damn killer.

personally i like all 3 of them.
im only p***ed at the fact that jfac will be there because of who they will bring to the show...the tight clothes clad arm swinging retardcore dancing kids. i was at a god forbid show and one of them punched a guy behind me in the eye. Lots of hardcore bands in jersey, and it always seems like they just start fights at shows for the hell of it.

In Flames and Bodom, WOW thats so sick. I love both those bands, I'd like to see In Flames play some older sh**, I really dislike everything since Clayman. But Bodom on the other hand, they have no bad albums, all their stuff is kick-ass. Job For A Cowboy would be cool too, I'm down with them. And retardcore dancing is f***ed too, almost as stupid as straight-edge, that sh** annoys the hell out of me.

Dude... If this truly comes true. I will sacrifice a virgin if this would come true. Lmfao. I saw Bodom w/ Amon Amarth, Gojira and some a forth band that sucked ass. BUT I NEED TO SEE MEGADAVE AND CO. AND ALMOST AS IMPORTANTLY I NEED TO SEE INFLAMES!
Please...if there is a god...this will come together.
I can't f***ing wait.

Jfac isn't worth seeing though. For someone into real metal who doesn't piss themselves cause they're seeing a band live (e.g. scene kids) Jfac will disappoint them with their live show.
Bodom on the other hand put on an amazing live show. I'd put their shows in my top 3 along with BTBAM and TBDM. In Flames don't suck, their last four cds just haven't been good. They can still play everything from Clayman and earlier.
