Long-running German thrashers DESTRUCTION have issued the following update:

"To allay the confusion about the rumours of cancelled UK tour dates, we have a statement from DESTRUCTION/ONSLAUGHT tour manager Baz Barett that will clear up everything."

Commented Barett: "All shows as shown on the official DESTRUCTION and ONSLAUGHT websites are definately still going ahead! Leeds and Manchester events are definitely on! An unreliable promoter has caused confusion but this situation is now rectifed. Any questions please call the venues! All the shows have been outstanding and we hope to see you all!!!"

DESTRUCTION's "Thrash Anthems" album, a collection of reworked/re-recorded versions of the band's classic tracks, was released in January via AFM Records. The CD was recorded at House of Music Studio in Germany) and Little Creek Studio in Switzerland with almost the same team that worked on the group's "Inventor of Evil" CD: DESTRUCTION's live sound engineers Gerd Krenz, Franky Winkelmann and GURD/POLTERGEIST mastermind VO Pulver. The tracks were mixed by one of the best metal producers in Europe — Jacob Hansen, the Danish producer and INVOCATOR singer and guitarist.
