Type O Negative, WWF, and New Release

• TYPE O NEGATIVE have reportedly recorded a version of the intro song for the WWF wrestler Kane, entitled “Out Of The Fire”, which is set to be included on an upcoming compilation CD, which may also include LIMP BIZKIT, among others, and is tentatively scheduled for a late October release through an as-yet-undisclosed label.
  
• In other TYPE O NEGATIVE news, the Brooklyn-based group are about to start the demoing process for their upcoming studio album, which is tentatively scheduled to be recorded at the end of the year and released in early 2002. The pre-production process will be taking place at the home studio of keyboardist Josh Silver, who is also expected to produce the upcoming effort, a role that he had assumed with all of the group’s most recent recordings. No touring activities are planned until after the upcoming album’s release, but it is likely that the group will embark on a short East Coast jaunt around Halloween, as has been their annual custom.
