Miami, Florida-based hard rock band BLACK TIDE (formerly RADIO) has unveiled the video for its single "Shockwave". The live footage in the clip was taken during the group's main-stage run on this past summer's Ozzfest tour. Watch the video here.

"Shockwave" comes off the group's debut album, "Light from Above", which is due in February 2008 via Interscope Records. The CD was recorded with producer Johnny K, who has previously worked with DISTURBED, MACHINE HEAD and SOIL, among others.

BLACK TIDE burst onto the metal scene with a month-long stint opening up the main stage of Ozzfest. According to a press release, the band "not only embrace the charisma, character and unwavering attitude of those who shredded before them, but they do so in a manner that would make the virtuosos that inspired them proud. The results are a renegade metallic assault that America hasn't encountered since METALLICA killed 'em all in '83. BLACK TIDE are not only bringing music back from the dead, but they're returning the power to metal. The meltdown is long overdue…"

BLACK TIDE is:

Gabriel Garcia (age 14) – Vocals/Guitar
Alex Nunez (age 17) - Guitar
Zachary Sandler (age 18) - Bass
Steven Spence (age 19) - Drums

Wow, kick ass. Awesome for how young these guys are, especially the Singer/Guitarist. They could ditch the skateboarding in the video though.

this band is absolutely amazing. they rock harder than anyone and they're young. Gabe Garcia is outstanding. He may be young (like me) but that guy has potential. I hope my band ends out as great as them!
