According to Matthew Atkins from Icbirmingham.icnetwork.co.uk, fans of MOTÖRHEAD and ALICE COOPER have been promised an evening of relentless, ear-splintering dirty rock ‘n’ roll experience at the NEC Arena concert next month.

They have also been told they cannot wear studded belts, large rings, trouser chains or dog collars.

While the stars on stage can wear more or less whatever they like in keeping with their chosen image, fans going along to their November 10 concert had beware - if you're sporting any of the above paraphernalia or other items dedicated rockers wouldn't be seen without, be prepared for them to be confiscated at the door.

All in the name of health and safety.

"To ensure the comfort and well-being of our visitors, the NEC group does not permit any item to be taken into the venue that could be considered a potential safety risk to any member of the public," said a spokesman.

Classic case of what I was talking about on the "Ozzy tribute fenced off thread"! British nanny state gone mad.

Do they confiscate people's hands and feet too? Since those could be a health and safety risk as well. They are often used as weapons.

This is how it's been at Ozzfest every year, and yet they still sell those very items (studded belts, chains, etc) inside the gates...
