More money that Metallica doesn't need. It should just end at "A: . . .And Justice for All: Metallica's last good album"

I despise Metallica lately, but I have a lot of respect for how they shaped music history. It's mandatory reading, as far as I'm concerned.

I love Metallica but this book is really not needed. Most fans already know all there is to know about Metallica anyway.

I'm with FocusShift, maybe if the book covered 1983-1989 it would be a much better read, and as for the new information, is there anything about metallica that hasnt already been published by someone somewhere?

Yeah Oz, you're right. Besides, there was a book released a couple years ago which was very good and had pretty much everything you would want to know about Metallica. I can't remember the name of it for sure, I'm not at home so I can't dig it out. But it was a hardcover and came out sometime around the release of Some Kind of Monster.
