Dee Snider Radio Dropped
Dee Snider Radio, the syndicated radio program hosted by former TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider, has reportedly parted ways with WMRQ/Clear Channel Communications. The following is a message purported to have been posted by Dee on the DSR fan site deesniderradio-peeps.org:
"Dear Peeps, as of approximately 1pm on Thursday August 22, Dee Snider Radio ceased being a part of Clear Channel Communications and broadcasting on WMRQ and WXLR. The reasons are long and involved. I will explain it all to you in detail, but I ask your patience. This close to the event, there are too many emotions involved to give a clear and objective explanation that you deserve. I am going away for a week with my family on vacation (as planned) and when I return, after Labor Day, I will sit down with a clearer head and fill you all in.
"Know this — this is not the end of DSR, we (you and the show) will spend time together again and I/we thank everyone of you for being the best and most loyal radio audience out there. Any station that you tune into in the interim is lucky to have you as a listener."
