ALTER BRIDGE will stream its performance at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday, October 21. 93.3 WMMR will broadcast the entire show live as it happens at WMMR.com.

ALTER BRIDGE's sophomore effort, "Blackbird", sold 47,000 copies to debut at No. 13 on The Billboard 200 chart.

ALTER BRIDGE guitarist Mark Tremonti said that while the chart numbers are significant, the band tries not to obsess about them. "Yeah, I mean, first-week sales are an important thing 'cause it is a business and you have to sell CDs to kind of stay out there, and we just want to be able to tour as long as we want — as long as we can," he said. "So the more people that are buying CDs, the longer we can do this. But we don't sit and constantly look at charts. I think people around us usually kind of, we overhear them talking about it."

ALTER BRIDGE is currently on the road with ANOTHER ANIMAL and plays Friday (October 19) in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.

orange goblin arent metal but people still love em. they play great atmospheric hard rock. and as for the creed thing well they are essentialy the same band just witha different singer. having seen both bands live i can honestly say that there is little difference between them both.

Alter Bridge and Creed the same band? If that's so then i wouldn't be listening to Alter Bridge, cause i absolutely hated Creed. They were very generic and Stapp's vocals annoyed the sh** of of me. Alter Bridge on the other hand have quite a bit of depth to their sound and Myles' vocal range puts most modern rock vocalists and yes even metal vocalists to shame . Not to mention Mark's guitar playing has drastically improved. It's nice to hear some well fleshed out guitar solos again.
