I like what they are doing these days they are an evolving band (into crap) no not evolving into crap. evolving into something that keeps the real fans interested and that will make new ones. I give them a pat on the back.
Btw watch the dvd then youll see what they think of ppl like mike s.

good song...but that song sounds alot like linkin park. and Mike s. has a point tho. i am an a7x fan but he is now a double of chester bennington (linkin park). still i like the song. im also worried that their uniqueness has gone, coz critical acclaims verses sounded like pantera.... again, still a good song and im looking forward to the rest of the album.

theres nothin I love more than listnin to A7X and whackin it to gay porn while crying, I love A7X almost as much as I love boners and a$$holes, nothin like deepthroatin while crankin City Of Evil. If only I could fit my strap-on inside my skin tight pants, that makes me want to cry some more, cuz my p***s is only an inch long, thats why I'm a taker, M shadows is so sexy I want to blow that hot stud and have him mount my skinny pathetic body, A7X FAN 4 LIFE

Yeah, nevermind the fact that someone wants to be in a successful band so they don't have to struggle to pay bills and sh** and give their families comfortable lives. What were they thinking?
If I was in a band like A7X, I'd sell out in a heartbeat. That's the whole point! Nobody wants to be in a mediocre band. You don't start a band so you can eat Ramen noodles and fvck fat chicks for the rest of your days. Who gives a shxt whether or not your album is self-produced or not? If someone came up to one of you with a $3,000,000 three-album contract, you'd sign it ASAP, and don't pretend to be self-righteous enough to act like you wouldn't.

honestly CrawfordTexasJingoJango i would accept that contract but i would not change my musical direction/style for it (like wat a7x did on city of evil) i wouldnt wanna live the rest of my life eatin ramen noodles or fvckin fat chicks either but i wouldnt wanna sell my integrity to get out of that lifestyle either

sh**, that's the most un-metal thing I've heard someone say on this site. Metal is all about musical integrity and not selling out for materialism. I shall quote Dream Evil -
"Don't need no flashy house, no kids/car or ugly wife
the only thing I want, is what my parents don't
need no widescreen TV, No in all honesty
the only thing I want to be (to be or not to be)
In the book of heavy metal"

Okay, so if Dream Evil says it, it must be true. Okay, let me try this one:
"So where's the road where you can go
In the day or night, in the dark or light
And you need to find a way somehow
When you hear the call you want it all
Walk into the unknown
If you want to know, you got to go and to leave safety behind
Stand on the razor's edge, out of control, when you walk into the unknown"
So there's some Dream Evil back at you. and judging from the lyrics to Chasing The Dragon, taking advice from these guys is like taking advice from Mr. Bungle.
So, no offense, or anything, but if you were so involved and indebted to make a metal band, would you really be spending all your time behind a PC? If you were heads over heels all about metal, and had a band, by your definition, you should've sold your PC for a half-stack a long time ago. But it's okay, because I'm guessing you have no musical talent anyways, or friends with instruments, for that matter. Fat a$$holes like you always have had the habit of "preaching to the choir".
Next time, see if you can possibly find a band with gayer lyrics than Dream Evil. Reading their ludicrous lyrics was very entertaining.

"Okay, so if Dream Evil says it, it must be true." - Wow, great way to construct a straw man argument there Crawford. Unfortunately my point of course wasn't that Dream Evil are a great band, or that their lyrics are great, or anything about Dream Evil. My point was contained in about 2 lines of their lyrics, that if you really want to be a musician in the first place your objective should be releasing your creative potential, and gaining a fortune wouldn't have anything to do with your choice.

Well
a) I'm not so indebted to make a metal band, I played in one at the start of the year and it was too much work with university on top
b) I actually write all my music on a piece of software called Powertab on my laptop
c) I've two guitars (Jackson DK and an old piece of sh** I've destroyed while painting it), and have been playing for about... 7 years? I can't find drummers technical enough to play my stuff right anyway.
and d) something which you have easily missed because of your view point - I don't need to be in a band to play metal, nor do I need to to play music. A drum machine, my guitar and my flatmates bass, and a vocoder is all I need. Something which you will probably never understand judging by your post is that creative release is the ends, not being in a successful band.

say what you will about these guys, there's a reason they're so popular...this song is badass!
very creative and well crafted. we all know what most metalheads think of this band, but i would rather see this sh** in the mainstream than 99% of the bullsh** that's been out for a long time!
the only thing i don't care for is the religious undertones in the video

I don't blame deathbringer at all for posting news on Korn, A7X etc, I mean you're guaranteed alot more site hits if you can provide news on big bands. And I mean I'm one of biggest genre elitest you will find, It drives me insane when people label mallcore bands as metal. The point is I can separate the to things (genres and this site), I suppose this site just has a slightly misleading name, thinking that it will only cover underground bands. In any case this site still does an awesome job of covering underground bands, I know the day Varg gets released from prison I'll be reading about it on MU.
Oh and congrats to deathbringer for obliterating the spam, awesome job.

not a bad song, but still nothing compared to the old material. Do us all a favor a7x: 1) drop the corny political themes (its all been said before and most people don't like to listen to music for the sake of being preached to); 2) write songs like you used to write songs (people liked your old material because it was spontaneous and it didn't have that traditional, cut-and-paste verse-chorus-verse-chorus structure); 3) stop looking like the singer from Linkin Park (no explanation necessary); and 4) for f***s sake start screaming again (tons of vocalists are hurting their chords screaming and don't p***y out. Plus, your fans like your voice because its DYNAMIC; adding the scream every once in a while would only contribute to this. It would also broaden your fanbase and win back some of your older fans).
