Operatika Hard At Work On Debut Album

New Jersey-based symphonic/operatic metallers OPERATIKA have issued the following update:

"We have been working hard on our ablum in the recording studio. [Guest bassist] Michael LePond [of SYMPHONY X] has finished bass parts before leaving for another tour with SYMPHONY X. Vocals are almost complete with mixing and mastering coming up soon.

"Our next upcoming show is on September 28th at The Chance supporting SONATA ARCTICA and FIREWIND, after which we will be back at Starland Ballroom on October 6th opening for OVERKILL and EPICA. Since Diego [bass] was unable to commit to OPERATIKA full-time, our old friend Jim Norton will be performing with us at the upcoming gigs. Looking forward to seeing you all there!"

OPERATIKA's "Dreamworld" four-song EP came out in 2005.
