70000 Tons of Metal - The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise

"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Jukka Outinen of Lullacry has posted an update

Lullacry drummer Jukka Outinen has posted the following update on the songwriting sessions for the band's forthcoming third full-length CD:

"I'm more than happy to say that we're done with all the songs for our next gigantic masterpiece of heavy and metal!

"In three demo sessions we have recorded 12 songs in total. They will now face even more tuning and tweaking before they are set in their final forms. Soon we're gonna decide how many songs (and which of them) are going to end up our third album.

"It's now only three more weeks before we're starting the real action at Finnvox Studios, Helsinki. We begin with the drums and then move on to a cottage on the coast of Baltic Sea where all the other instruments and vocal parts are going to be done. Our recording engineer is taking all his mobile Wonder-Gizmo-Systems with him so as long as there is electricity in the coastal box I'm sure everything's ending up just fine. Right now it's time for us to focus on being heavy as hell!"

As previously reported, Lullacry — featuring new vocalist Tanja Lainio — will collaborate with producer Mikko Karmila on the forthcoming effort for an early 2003 release through Spinefarm Records.

Among the tracks set to appear on the as-yet-untitled CD are the following:

01. Over Me
02. Darkest Hour
03. Alright Tonight
04. Every Single Day
05. Better Days
06. Crucify My Heart
07. Unchain
