"some music was meant to stay underground..."

7 Angels 7 Plagues Break Up is Official

You've probably heard rumors, so we'll clear things up for you. Yes, 7 Angels 7 Plagues is no longer a band. Drummer Jared recently quit due to personal reasons, thus causing the break-up. Ryan (guitarist/writer), Kyle (bassist), Jesse (the new vocalist), Andy Hurley (drummer, formerly of Racetraitor and Kill The Slave Master), and an undetermined second guitarist will be continuing on under a new name, with new songs. Their style will be similar to 7a7p, though "a little more straight forward and a little more Meshuggah mosh." The new band, which remains unnamed, will be entering the studio in September or October to record a demo/EP, which will most likely be released by some Milwaukee friends who are starting a label. The new band should be ready to play shows around that time as well, so if anyone is interested in booking them, send an email here (that email account will not remain active much longer, so act quickly.) Here's a message from Kyle: "I'd just like to say thanks to everyone who has supported us in the past 3 years. We really appreciate it and hope you continue to support the new project."

The last string of shows for 7 Angels 7 Plagues will be without Jared and Matt Matera and are as follows:
