Devin Townsend has expressed interest in producing Burton C. Bell's solo effort

Knac.com reports that Devin Townsend is interested in producing the upcoming solo album from Burton C. Bell. "I would really like to produce Burton's new record," Townsend stated in an recent online newsletter. "I bet you it's going to be cool. Would I play on it? Maybe." Regarding joining the former members of Megadeth for a project, “Why would I want to join Megadeth? Join the Dave Mustaine Band without Dave Mustaine? Please don't hold auditions for the Devin Townsend Band if anything should happen to me."

As for his own material, Townsend told BW&BK that “the non-SYL record's title has changed. It is now the first, self titled album from 'The Devin Townsend Band'. The SYL album is self titled as well, so I figure they should start from an equal place.”
