Bay area thrash pioneers EXODUS have updated their MySpace page to stream their track 'Riot Act'. Check it out at this location.

Set to go into production this month, Exodus will be shooting a video for 'Riot Act', off their upcoming new album The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A, slated for release in North America on October 23.

The video director for 'Riot Act' will be none other than Jon Schnepp. Known most recently for his work on Metalocalypse (an animated program about DETHKLOK, the world’s most popular death metal band) on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, the show has been described as 'Spinal Tap meets Scooby Doo meets Norway.' Schnepp is responsible for the character design of the five Dethklok members, directs the majority of the Metalocalypse episodes for each season, and works closely with the show’s co-creators/writers Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha.

Exodus guitarist Gary Holt has this to say about the shoot: “Having the opportunity to work with Jon on our video for ‘Riot Act’ is going to be amazing. Having just recently done our own guest appearance on Metalocalypse, we went out on a limb and asked Jon if he'd shoot our video. When he said yes, we were stoked to say the least. The ideas that he's come up with promise to make this our best video ever! I usually hate making videos, but this time I'm actually excited about it! It will be unique, and of course, it will be heavy!”

Nuclear Blast will release The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A on October 28th in Europe. Produced at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA by Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY), it features the following tracks: 'A Call To Arms', 'Riot Act', 'Funeral Hymn', 'Children Of A Worthless God', 'As It Was, As It Soon Shall Be', 'The Atrocity Exhibition', 'Iconoclasm', 'The Garden Of Bleeding', 'Bedlam 123'.

Wow whoever was disappointed with Rob Dukes taking vocals you might be happy to know... his vox changed, kinda like Lamb of God vox, except you can make out what Rob is saying. Anways the song was Thrash, but not at its fullest. But Bedlam 123 and Funeral Hymm were f***ing Thrash, so I have no worrys about this album.

Man, October 23 is to far away. I hope this album is the thrash/speed revival that "The Blackening" was supposed to be.

First of all, Rob Dukes vocals do not fit Exodus. Why is Exodus trying to sound like another Slayer band. GAry Holt is probably one of the most talented guitarist in underground metaal - all time. It is a shame they think they have to go the death route to continue on. Exodus - stay - Exodus or go away. Paul Baloff - RIP

Dude I think Rob Dukes is starting to come into is own as a vocalist, and it is not like a total change from what came befor. Better a guy who can leave his own mark than some second rate mid 20s Tom Araya wanna-be or some modern metalcore screamer. Sure he is no Baloff or Souza but what are you going to do?
Baloffs dead and there is some bad blood between Souza and Exodus (I don't know the whole story of why he left)
Exodus is still able to put out high quality matiral. You going to let the whole band go down the toilet because of thier singer.
Keep in mind some people don't like thrash vocals period.
