Okay, I know the new album was released earlier this year and I've heard it.... and at one point I fell asleep for 5 minutes and woke up to realize that each song was about 7 to 10 minutes long!!!!! If I wanted to hear dragged out metal songs I would have just listened to St. Anger!!! No metal band should write songs which are 7 to 10 minutes long, please just split up the riffs and lyrics and create two separate songs which can provide more than 8 tracks on an album!! This bad hasn't put out a good album since the Buring Red.

Soulfly79, seriously, MH have created an awesome album with "The Blackening", St Anger was terrible, i know what your saying bout the length of the songs, but each track keeps you interested enough to keep on listening, lyrically the writing has improved, Robb Flynn who i think has been a very under rated guitarist frickin shines on this album, everything just seems to fit perfectly. I'm looking forward to the UK shows in November, the only thing spoiling that line up is Trivium........remember kids....just say NO to emo

This band might make alot more Metalcore songs then Metal. But they diffently carry true Metalheads respect. This band is fully clothed in armour. I love there song Aesthetics Of Hate, amazing song to lash out on the a$$hole who called Metal ugly, can really see how mad Robb was
