According to MTV.com, new wavers DEVO are lashing out at KORN for allegedly biting the group's "devolution" concept in a fake movie trailer posted on EvolutionDevolution.com. "We denounce this as imposters playing with fire," Gerald Casale wrote in a post on Devo.com. He told RollingStone.com that KORN fans have been sending him hate mail since he posted the note on the site. "We went, 'Wow, this is insane. This is a perfect example of devolution. ... Gee, I'm sorry we thought all this up 30 years ago and have been putting it out there and preaching it ever since.' "

Devo was just some little flash in the pan novelty act riding the coattails of the new wave craze. Thay aren't serious musicians. Just look at them. They wear traffic cones on their heads. If anyone in this situation were 'playing with fire,' it would be them. Korn is an ultrapopular rock group that has redefined the heavy metal genre, and what has Devo done lately? Nothing. This is the first I've heard of them in years. Them publicly starting a feud with a behemoth like Korn is probably just a publicity stunt to reclaim some of their long lost popularity.

Devo sucks is right, Devo has been completely dead lately, they haven't put out a new album in seventeen years. Korn however, has put our four full length albums, (not eps) in the past two years. Devo is totally pathetic. Thay dress like garbage collectors. And that's all they're music is, really, garbage. Devo died in the eighties. It's time for them to give up the ghost. Thay sucked hard then and they suck infinately harder now. Thay talk as if they're such big shots like Queen, but they're not, thay're just some dead eighties New Wave group that needs to learn their place. Thay have no right to say anything negative of Korn, Korn has sold more albums than they ever will. Korn is a household name, Devo was all but forgotten until now. Devo is pathetic and they're music is garbage.
